Within a short drive from Salt Lake City, residents and visitors can reach plenty of ski resorts that offer a diverse array of terrain. They can ride an Olympic bobsled in Park City. And they can snowshoe under pine trees in Big Cottonwood Canyon. With so much to offer, it’s no wonder that almost everyone in the Salt Lake area has piles of winter sports gear.
